Men Of God
Praise The Lord My Brothers:
I am so glad that you chose to visit this page, because this page is for you, a “Man of God”. My intentions on creating this page was to enlighten my fellow brethren about their true inheritance in Christ Jesus.
First, we must define the phrase. Man of God, what is a Man of God? When giving the definition of a Man of God, we thought it necessary to do so with the structure or the natural order a man goes through in his life as a Christian leader in the smallest unit of society, the Family Unit. When a man is born into the world, he becomes a Son. When a man marries, he becomes a husband. When a man has children of his own, he becomes a Father, this is the road a man travels in his life. The method that we are going to use is that of a courtroom setting, to show how that Man has lost his place in society and no longer remembers his role in society or the home. After defining A Man of God, we will build a case against the man to enlighten him about the burden he was given from God to carry in society and the home. We will then build a case for the Man to strengthen him and encourage him to carry his burden and take back is place in his home and society.
MAN OF GOD - Definition -
Father- I Timothy chap.3v.4-One that ruleth well his house having his children in subjection with all gravity;
Bro.Anthony- Provider, Disciplinarian,Spiritual Leader of the house.
Bro.James- A man who is not an infidel. (A man who takes care of his family, a provider, spiritually/naturally)
Bro.Michael- A man who has children depending on him for their survival. A man that takes care of his responsibilities concerning his offspring, his seed, and guides them in the ways of God. Bible-Proverbs chap.20v.7-The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.
Husband-Matthew chap.19v.3-12- The Pharisees also came unto him,tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?4. And he answered and said unto them,have ye not read,that he that which made them at the beginning made them male and female,5. And said ,For this cause shall a man leave father and mother,and shall cleave to his wife:and they twain shall be one flesh.6.Wherefore they are no more twain but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together,let not man put asunder.7.They say unto him ,Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away?8. He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives:but from the beginning it was not so.9.And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another,commiteth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery .10. His disciples say unto him, If the case of one man be so with his wife ,it is not good to marry.11.But he said unto them, All men cannot recieve this saying,save they to whom it is given.12.For there are some eunuchs,which were so born from their mothers womb:and there are some eunuchs,which were made eunuchs of men:and there be eunuchs , which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to recieve it, let him recieve it.
Bro.Anthony- It is a man’s duty to stay committed to his wife through the vows that he stated when they entered matrimony.In this text, Jesus clearly indicates Gods intentions in marriage,and also gives the reason for Moses’s issue of divorcement.This passage of scripture is a clear teaching of what Jesus thought about marriage, and needs to be understood before we enter into this lifelong commitment.
Bro. Michael- “The Trinity Concept” Our Lord and savior was the perfect example of all three stages of Man. The Father, the Husband, and the Son, are the three (3) stages a man goes through in his life-time. In every stage, God sets himslef apart from us, by being faithfull, loyal, forgiving, understanding, patient, loving, and enduring all things. God is Love and that’s what Love does. Husbands “LOVE” your wives as Chirst loves the church, not being bitter, but as our Lord and Savior, who gave his life for us. The Lord did not get tired of us and want to trade us in everytime we dis-obeyed or strained his love. In-short Man-kind was meant to mate for LIFE not seasonal like animals or wild-beast. Marraige is sacred and the Husband is the head of the household. I encourage every Man that’s a Husband to stand up and be who God, Almighty called you to be, a Man of God.
Bro. James - To sum up what my brothers were saying was this, we being Men of God have got to take back our place in the Body of Christ. The Bible says, “From the days of John the Baptist until now the Kingdom of Heaven suffereth violence and the violent take it by force”. In doing this we have got to do what God has called us to do. So Brethern, Man of God, love your wives as Christ Loved the Church. AMEN
